Top Hat – QMC Hospital Nottingham

Top Hat – QMC Hospital Nottingham

Working with QMC Hospital, Nottingham, we run weekly projects and their hospital school. Between the ages of four and fifteen, we host fun and creative ways to teach children maths, computer science and a host of other topics. This project is ongoing and needs financial support.

These children are all wonderful individuals, in a situation they cannot control that means they miss school, a loss of learning, playing and fun with peers. Top Hat aims to create a space for them to enjoy all three, while developing their STEM knowledge and stimulating their minds.

“The Top Hat Maths session provided by I’m Strong have been very successful in the Children’s Hospital School. The activities delivered are fun and engaging and the delivery has been adapted to meet the needs of the children, who often vary from week to week. The activities have ranged from number puzzles and games, to engineering and coding. The room always has a lively and engaging atmosphere and the children always provide positive feedback.”
